Hannah Okada Akhlaghi

Hannah is currently attending The University of British Columbia, majoring in reproductive health and pharmacology.  Her desire to learn and contribute to women’s reproductive health has led her to EDGE Research where she is currently working on her project of building this EDGE research website and assisting in ongoing projects relating to Endometriosis and Endometroid Ovarian Carcinomas.

She is very excited to learn techniques and topics from some amazing scientists and apply what she has learned to practical settings to contribute to the advancement of women’s health research. She enjoys interacting with others and going to conferences to hear about their research and their journey on how they got to where they are today.

 

Hannah used to be a competitive swimmer and now loves to stay involved with the swimming community. So if she is not studying or at work, you can find her at the pool, coaching and swimming.
