Prabhsevak Johal

BSc Student | Student Researcher

Johal grew up in South Vancouver and is currently in his 5th year at UBC, studying Biochemistry. He joined EDGE research to learn more about the Histology and Pathology of Endometriosis and Sarcomas, and to learn/apply all more lab techniques. Currently, Johal is assisting members of the lab conduct their research with histopathology techniques such as tissue sectioning, laser capture microdissection, tissue staining, and other assays. Outside of EDGE, he also work with a Ph.D student in the Centre of Indigenous Fisheries to help develop frameworks for ecosystem stewardships. Johal used to play hockey, loves hanging out with his dog, and his favorite place he has travelled to so far is San Francisco.
